I spent $300 on Crocs — these are the actually-cute styles I wear every week

I've been a fashion editor for over a decade, and at no point in my career did I ever think I'd write what I'm about to write. Ready for my big reveal? I wear Crocs. Well, I do now, that is. Despite rave reviews from friends and family members about how comfortable Crocs were, I just could not bring myself to wear rubber clogs.

What finally convinced me? A collaboration with one of my all-time favorite brands, that's what. I was strolling the mall when I caught sight of, what's that, a Marimekko print in the Crocs display window?! I beelined it into the store and, in record time, went from a Crocs hater to a Crocs superfan in five seconds flat. Half an hour and $300 later, I was walking around with a bag full of Crocs.

It's been a few months since I jumped on the Crocs bandwagon and I have to admit, I regret waiting this long to buy a pair. They feel amazing on my feet, never rub or cause blisters, and yes, there are some actually-cute styles out there.

I don't know where you are on the Crocs spectrum. Maybe you've known about their virtues for years and years, or maybe you still need convincing like I did. Either way, I'm here to share my recent haul with you to inspire your spring and summer footwear purchases. I'm pretty proud of the bright, fun finds I snagged, and I think you'll like them, too. Best of all, they're all wonderfully comfortable and will only enhance your fab outfits this season.

My fatal flaw? I have no chill when it comes to things I like. I have multiples of many things in my wardrobe, now including these floral print clogs. Hey, hear me out — I can't wear the same pair outside that I wear around the house. I live in New York City, after all.

All jokes aside, these are hands-down my favorite from my latest shopping excursion. The colors are vivid, the print is iconic Marimekko and the shoes themselves are lightweight and comfy with or without socks... so I bought two pairs.

Also, I can't tell you how many compliments I've received while wearing these. I basically had a full photoshoot with some salespeople in Nordstrom who couldn't stop fangirling these Crocs.

I was initially on the fence about these Crocs sandals, but decided to go for it because I'm a sucker for anything Marimekko. Now that I've had them for a week or so, I'm glad I grabbed them. The soles on these are squishier than the clogs and I wear them a ton around the house. When the weather finally stays warm, I plan on wearing these out with white jeans for a pop of color.

Fun fact: If your foot is small and narrow enough, you can probably get away with wearing kids' size Crocs. My adult clogs are a women's size 8, and as luck would have it, that means I can also fit the youth size J6. So, of course, that meant I just had to have these pink and red Marimekko clogs, too. (We've already established that I'm an awful shopaholic with no off switch, so don't judge me.) These are more playful and whimsical than the adult version; I can't wait to wear them with dresses all summer long.

Something weird happens when you go into a Crocs store. You go in for one thing, and then suddenly you see all these other cute things, and boom, you wind up buying way more than you intended. Okay, well, maybe that's just me. Nonetheless, that's how I ended up with the fabulous red clogs that I absolutely adore. There's something about the floral cutouts that feels a bit more stylish and special than the regular holes, and the rich shade of red is really stunning in person. I've already worn these with jeans, and will definitely wear them with denim shorts as the weather warms up.

I will note, I was not lucky enough to score these on sale. I would happily pay full price for them again, but now that they're more than 35% off? I may need to go back for the mint green.

Okay, so I'm in the Crocs store getting ready to check out when I noticed the salesperson wearing these super cute slingback sandals. I hesitate at first, but I just have to know: "Where can I get those Crocs?" Turns out, they're an older style that's no longer sold in store.

Lucky for everyone, I am a shopping expert, and yes, I did track them down on Amazon. I couldn't decide between the gray and the black, so I bought both. They'll be my summer dog walking shoes, I told myself. I've already worn them twice and they're perfection. No regrets.

In case you needed more proof, I have a bona fide Crocs collection these days. (Jeanine Edwards/Yahoo)

Okay, you've reached the point where I officially cut myself off. I went from having exactly zero pairs of Crocs, to, well, a lot of Crocs. I told myself I couldn't buy any more for at least a month, but that hasn't stopped me from looking. Here's what's on my wish list when I give myself permission to shop again.

I normally hate the color yellow, but this season's buttery shade has absolutely won me over. I'm eyeing these sweet sandals, which just went on sale for just $30. I have them in another color and they're so comfortable. I wear them around the house and also for quick trips around the neighborhood. Do I technically need another pair? No. But can I resist anything butter yellow at the moment? Also no. These slides are currently getting lots of positive reviews from shoppers, so I wouldn't be surprised if they sell out. Consider yourself warned.

You know fruit-print dress trend that's taking over stores this summer? It applies to accessories and shoes, too. My coworker Julia has basically convinced me I need this beaded tomato bag. Since I fully plan to get it and I don't want it to be lonely, I think I'm going to have to plan to get these lemon-print Crocs too.

P.S. There's a cherry print as well!

I've been eyeing the Dylans ever since I saw the Duchess herself, Meghan Markle, wearing them. But hers were kinda of meh in plain tan. I recently came across this platform pink pair and umm, yes please! I do worry about tumbling over in them, but shoppers say they have stability.

"Very comfortable, easy wear, very supportive and secure on the feet. I bought all the available colors!" one fan wrote. Shopper after my own heart.

There's something about these slides that brings my inner 13-year-old so much joy. Maybe it's the slightly chunky sole or the kitschy colorful accents on the strap. Either way, it's taking a lot of self-discipline for me to not snag these while they're 30% off.
