Stylist Explains In Court How Cassie and Michael B. Jordan Started 'Dating' After Diddy Kept 'Humiliating' Her

A stylist who worked for Sean "Diddy" Combs and Casandra "Cassie" Ventura told jurors in the music mogul's sex trafficking and racketeering trial that he introduced Ventura to actor Michael B. Jordan during a lull in her relationship with Combs.

Deonte Nash testified on Thursday, May 29 that Ventura learned Combs had been involved with another woman while she was in South Africa in 2015 filming "Honey 3."

“Why does he keep humiliating me and trying to ruin my career?” Nash said Ventura had asked him.

Nash said he introduced Ventura to Jordan because she and Combs had broken up at the time.

"I did hook her up with Michael B. Jordan,” he testified. “He fine, she fine. I mean, why not?”

“They started talking, dating — getting to know each other more so,” he also said under cross examination.

Xavier Donaldson, one of Combs' attorneys, asked Nash how Ventura got Combs’ approval to film the movie. Nash did not respond directly.

Nash testified Wednesday, May 28, that he witnessed Combs beat Ventura, pressure her to participate in "freak offs" — elaborate, drug-fueled sexual encounters with male prostitutes that sometimes lasted days — and threaten her with releasing sex tapes of her, including to her parents' jobs to get them fired.

Those sexual encounters are at the center of the government's case, which accuses Combs of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges and his lawyers have said any sexual encounters were consensual.
